A new version of Tezuka Osamu's 1965 TV special *Shin Takarajima* (*New Treasure Island*). Orphan's [original release](https://nyaa.si/view/1451300) was based on a web rip. This new version is based on the R2J DVD. It offers improved video quality - crisper lines, better contrast - at the cost of a five-fold increase in size. The subtitles remain the same, except for minor changes. It still includes Tezuka’s trademarks: good action scenes, the occasional anachronism, laugh-out-loud slapstick gags, and the occasional misspelling.  Original subtitles. Anamorphic DVD encode. The original release remains viable, but if you've never seen *Shin Takarajima*, give this version a try.
