It's about a defiant teen who, after her family falls apart and she ends up in a detention center, fights her way back into the world through rhythm and rebellion, driven by a dream to start a band and rewrite her life. Expect a killer '80s soundtrack, bombastic melodrama and plenty of delinquent hijinks throughout. The opening track is, 'Never Say Good-Bye' by Kahoru Kohiruimaki, whom many would recognize for singing the themes for City Hunter, and is an absolute banger. For anyone familiar with another 80s Daiei drama, *Stepsisters*, which was being subbed by The Skaro Hunting Society, you can expect a lot of the same players and familiar storytelling tropes here. Big shoutout to **Farfromsleep** for donating the original DVD box set, so I didn't have to rely on the very poor quality RAWs hanging around online that are bizarrely missing the kickass opening.
